Memorable Moments with the Major and Malisa

We've enjoyed very much our first couple of days with Danny and Malisa and their kids, including meeting little Emma for the first time. She looks very much like a cute little female version of a young Danny. And Cami has been transformed from the quiet, reserved little child we remembered to a fitting accomplice of Sage and Alexa, whose energy, exhuberance, and extroversion are just as legendary.

Danny invited us to sit in on one of his philosophy classes, so now we can say we have studied at West Point. Friday afternoon we went with Malisa and some of the kids to the West Point museum, where we saw lots of fearsome weapons from ages past. We've also been glad to meet Malisa's friend, Marcia, who will be moving in with them in another month or two and who will be coming with them to the family reunion, where the rest of the family will also get to meet her.

Saturday we went to Central Park in New York City and to the outskirts of Chinatown--at least far enough to find a restaurant with Chinese food.
